Discover the joy of modern calligraphy with step-by-step instructions in this two-hour workshop. Whether you’re a beginner, expert, or just curious, this workshop is the perfect place to immerse yourself in the world of calligraphy, where the art of beautiful writing comes to life.
You’ll first hear a brief history of modern calligraphy and its origins. Then, you’ll learn modern calligraphy using a traditional, pointed dip pen with ink and paper and create a calligraphy project to take home. Anyone can learn modern calligraphy—previous calligraphy skills or good handwriting is NOT required. All supplies and instructional materials are provided. For ages 16 and up.
