In conjunction with the exhibition Layered Legacies: Quilts from the Museum of Early Southern Decorative Arts at Old Salem, join local fiber artist in residence Patrizia Ferreira for a relaxing and inspirational time creating fabric art and community connection.

While exploring the meditative practice of stitching, you will be guided through an intentional group discussion around themes of well-being. Join us to harness the power of hand-stitching rhythms to heal, to mend, and to recover textiles.

No experience is necessary; all skill levels are welcome. Space is limited; for adults ages 18 and up. All materials are provided. You are also welcome to bring a hand-sewing project you are currently working on.

Thank you for your interest!
