Please note: this workshop takes place on three consecutive Wednesday evenings, April 16, 23, and 30.
Lamar Whidbee, artist and mental health counselor, guides participants through conversations based on the three thematic sections of the exhibition The Time Is Always Now: Artists Reframe the Black Figure.
On three consecutive Wednesday evenings, spend time with a small group in the exhibition to observe the art and reflect together upon questions that arise around Double Consciousness, Past and Presence, and Our Aliveness.
One ticket covers all three workshops. Group size is small and remains the same for the three meetings.
