Inspired by the fine jewelry from the Good as Gold exhibition, artist Katherine Diuguid leads participants in creating a small motif embellished and embroidered using metallic threads. Once stitched, the motifs may be made into a brooch or earrings. This virtual workshop consists of two 90-minute Zoom sessions with your instructor separated by a week for independent work. Complete project kits are included; all skill levels welcome. Email angela.lombardi@ncdcr.gov with any questions.
You are registering for a two part virtual studio workshop. This includes the first Zoom session where you will tune in remotely on Saturday, August 15 from 1:30-3pm, a week of chat and collaborative posting with the class, and a second workshop on Saturday, August 22 from 1:30-3pm, also offered virtually via Zoom.
Thank you for your interest!
