Ever wonder why Monet, Van Gogh, and other great artists sought to be outside with their paint? Explore plein air painting from the comfort of your virtual environment with North Carolina artist Cath Connolly Hudson. This workshop is designed for those who want to explore the basics of plein air painting with guidance and steps to successfully complete a painting in the home studio or out in nature.
This virtual workshop consists of two 90-minute Zoom sessions with your instructor (Saturdays, October 10 and 24, 1:30–3 pm each day) separated by two weeks for independent work with access to the instructor for advice and tips. All skill levels welcome; most appropriate for age 16 and up.
Email Angela Lombardi with questions about the program.
