The NCMA is one of only two general art museums in the country with a permanent gallery devoted to Jewish ceremonial art. How did this collection come to be in North Carolina? Who is responsible for making these works part of the people's collection? Join us for a behind-the-scenes virtual gallery tour to learn more about key artworks and why this gallery is so important to the history of the NCMA.
This 90-minute Zoom webinar is led by Gabriel M. Goldstein, consulting curator of Judaic art, and Mina Levin, a retired physician who has been a docent at the NCMA for 16 years.
We are working to make our online content accessible. If you need live captions or an ASL interpreter, or have another request, email Felicia Ingram.
