Creative Processing is a series for families to reflect together on big (and sometimes tough) ideas about the world and ourselves through art. Workshops include guided group conversations about works of art from the NCMA collection as well as hands-on art-making projects with a focus on process and exploration. Loss can make us feel many different emotions, from sadness to anger to gratitude. This hour-long virtual workshop explores Egyptian funerary objects in the exhibition Golden Mummies of Egypt to start a conversation about the complex experiences of grief we have. Participants will have time for a guided exploration of art-making processes to create their own reflective work of art as a family.
Space is limited; reserve a spot by clicking the ticketing link. The first 30 participants can choose to receive a special kit of art materials! Questions? Email help@ncartmuseum.org.
