Join us for a virtual screening of the short film Signing Black in America. After we will hear from the filmmakers, Danica Cullinan, Joseph Hill, and Carolyn McCaskill, and several artists who use Black American Sign Language (BASL) in their creative expression. The film will be shown on Zoom and live streamed on YouTube. ASL interpretation will be provided.
This event is part of the fifth anniversary of A Series of Fortunate Events (SOFE), hosted by Arts Access, which celebrates the talents and creativity of artists with disabilities.
