Join us for a sensory journey to Central America to explore the NCMA’s Maya Cylinder Vase from Honduras. We’ve partnered with Arts Access to offer this special virtual experience intended for adults who are blind, low vision, or have a disability or learning need that would benefit from a sensory-style experience.

After a short guided meditation and audio description of the artwork, you will be invited to virtually step into the vase with a mindful observation and discussion. Registration includes a small kit of sensory objects that participants will engage with during the observation. These will be mailed to registrants in advance. Captions will be provided.

Registration closes June 27, 2021. For ages 16 and up.
