Join New York mixed-media assemblage artist Sara Rahbar live from her studio to learn how she makes collages and sculptures out of collected objects. Join a conversation about art, life, and finding peace of mind through making things.

About the artist

Sara Rahbar pursued an interdisciplinary study program in New York and also studied at Central Saint Martins in London. She has exhibited at art institutions internationally, including but not limited to the Queensland Museum, Museum of Arts and Design, Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium, Mannheimer Kunstverein, Musรฉe National dโ€™Art Moderne, and Saatchi Gallery. Her works are in the collections of the British Museum, Centre Pompidou, Davis Museum, Queensland Art Gallery and Gallery of Modern Art, and Sharjah Art Foundation.

Rahbar has been a teaching artist for the Queens Museum, working with Rikers Island correctional educators and at the Women for Afghan Women center. She has also taught classes for Dallas Contemporary and at the Katonah Museum of Art.
