Effective Monday, October 4, the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources and the NC Museum of Art will require family program participants age 13 and up to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 NAAT or PCR test result; test results must be within 72 hours of the event. Please plan to have one of these items in hand for Museum personnel upon entry.

Our beloved program for preschoolers is back. Meet a work of art, enjoy movement and play, and get your creative juices flowing with activities for 3- to 5-year-olds and their caregivers. Adults and children take a visit to the Museum galleries and then produce unique works of art in our studios as we make connections through stories, art making, movement activities, and gallery play.

Calling all tiny builders! This class explores the textures and materials of sculpture inspired by the monumental sculpture Number 235, 2019 by Leonardo Drew.

To create a safe environment for participants, all youth attendees (ages 3 and up) must wear masks during the session. Attendees not yet vaccinated for COVID-19 are strongly encouraged to wear masks.

Tickets go on sale August 13 at 10 am for this event. Please contact our Visitor Experience Department at help@ncartmuseum.org for more information.
