Come celebrate the launch of The Museum Lives in Me, the new children’s book written by Victoria Scott-Miller and illustrated by JP Jermaine Powell. Join us in the SECU Auditorium for a talk by the author and a reading of the story. Learn about the collaboration between Scott-Miller and Powell that led to the diverse cast of characters in the story.

This talk is followed by a reception and book signing at the Museum Store in West Building. You and your family can meet the author and artist, enjoy refreshments, and pick up a scavenger hunt that leads you on your own exploration of the Museum.

Please contact Angela.Lombardi@ncdcr.gov with any questions.
