This self-paced, 10-hour course will introduce arts-based strategies that will support teachers in integrating the five core CASEL competencies of Social Emotional Learning (SEL) into their practice. Educators will engage in the transformative process of SEL by exploring themes of Mindfulness, Identity, Perspective Sharing, Community Building, and Agency and participate in experiences that model growth and development of justice-oriented, global citizens. A certificate of participation for 10 hours will be provided (1 CEU, with approval from the local school system).
