Persepolis (2007). Directed by Vincent Paronnaud and Marjane Satrapi, 96 min., French with English subtitles, PG-13

Based on Marjane Satrapi’s autobiographical graphic novel, this animated film depicts a young Marjane as she grows from child to rebellious punk teen in pre- and postrevolutionary Iran. “A delightful, curious film that indulges in both the personal and the political and provides a potted history of modern Iran through one woman's experience.” (Time Out)

Tickets go on sale August 18 at 10 am for members, and August 20 at 10 am for nonmembers. Please contact our Visitor Experience Department at help@ncartmuseum.org for more information.
