Mucha: The Story of an Artist Who Created a Style (2020). Directed by Roman Vávra, 95 min., NR
This documentary explores the life of Czech artist Alphonse Mucha, a pioneer of the art nouveau movement, from the perspective of his son Jiří Mucha, using re-enactments, animations, archival footage, artwork, and photographs.
After the screening there will be a virtual conversation with the filmmaker and Alphonse Mucha's grandson, John Mucha.
