The Department of Natural and Cultural Resources and the North Carolina Museum of Art require studio program participants ages 13 and up to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 NAAT or PCR test result; test results must be within 72 hours of the event. Please plan to have one of these items in hand upon entry for Museum personnel.

Joseph Massie is widely regarded as one of Europe’s top botanical artists. With a clutch of prestigious awards, he has worked across 10 countries on a wide variety of art projects, including botanical couture, sculptures, and installations. Focusing on sustainable floral design, students work closely with Massie to create magnificent centerpieces for their homes. All supplies provided.

Please note: admission to Art in Bloom in West Building requires a separate entry ticket.

Please arrive early to allow time for parking and walking to East Building; we expect parking to be crowded.
