While our sunflower field is in bloom, join professional photographer Barbara Tyroler on an inspirational journey of creative expression through photography and nature. All skill levels and cameras, including smartphone cameras, are appropriate.
Space is limited; ages 16 and up.
Part 1, August 11: After a brief introduction, you will spend the “golden hour” among the flowers in the Museum Park practicing with guidance from Barbara. Participants learn about technical decisions, experiment with design elements, and reflect on the underlying emotional forces that may influence choices for image capture.
Part 2, August 18: You will take part in an informal critique virtually over Zoom. Constructive group discussion focuses on practice images submitted in advance.
In the event of poor weather, Part 1 will also take place over Zoom. Both parts end at 8 pm.
