This one-day workshop teaches participants the technique of pouring diluted watercolor directly on paper. Pouring creates a wide range of colors and amazing blending effects. Through instructor demonstration, you’ll learn about masking, wetting techniques, using gravity to mix your limited palette, and preserving the transparency of your layers. All levels are welcome, including first-time watercolorists.

Please note: admission to Art in Bloom in West Building requires a separate entry ticket.

Please arrive early to allow time for parking and walking to Studio 1 in East Building; we expect parking to be crowded.

Tickets go on sale January 18 at 10 am for members, and February 2 at 10 am for nonmembers. Please contact our Visitor Experience Department at help@ncartmuseum.org for more information.
