About Kenny G
The sound of Kenny Gโ€™s saxophone is as iconic as his curly coif; indeed, both are instantly recognizable. The title of his latest release, New Standards, his 19th studio album, could well be used to describe his four-decade body of work, a vision of jazz that helped launch both a musical genre and radio format. After the critically acclaimed HBO documentary Listening to Kenny Gโ€”which humorously reconsiders the purist critical backlash to his musicโ€”itโ€™s now cool to not only be Kenny G but to admit youโ€™re a fan of his as well.

Please keep an eye out for our Know before You Go email, which will be sent a few weeks before the concert. Also feel free to reach out to Moses.T.AlexanderGreene@ncdcr.gov should you have any questions.
