Join acclaimed  Durham-based cellist Shana Tucker and Saxapahaw-based French choreographer Murielle Elizéon (co-creator of Culture Mill) for the world premiere of a powerful multidisciplinary performance presented as a diptych—two solos in conversation.

The work considers the body as a repository of complex histories and illuminates both shared and individual experience embedded in the bodies of women of color from the African diaspora. Together, Elizéon and Tucker explore a shared ancestry of violence and reclaim their power. This immersive experience includes performances in the Museum’s galleries as well as a conversation with the artists.

Tickets go on sale January 10 at 10 am for members, and January 11 at 10 am for nonmembers. Please contact our Visitor Experience Department at help@ncartmuseum.org for more information.
